Straight answers.
When does Essential make sense?
Simple covers and confident self-servers. The flat fee is shown upfront, so you can compare it against the commission-based option before you decide.
Can I switch to Plus later?
Yes, at any renewal.
Who handles my claim on Essential?
You lodge directly with the insurer. We will answer questions and review wording, but will not act as your advocate.
How is Plus remunerated?
Insurers pay brokers a commission that is built into the premium, and Plus passes that arrangement through to you. A broker fee may apply depending on the service option you select. We disclose applicable fees and remuneration before you proceed.
Are there any other charges?
Sometimes — but nothing we earn. Some insurers and underwriters apply their own fee (for example a policy, underwriting or administration fee); we pass it on at cost and keep none of it. Government charges like stamp duty and GST are set by law. Every charge is itemised on your quote before you commit.
